FEEDBACK I’VE RECEIVED
What my supervisees are saying.
“I am truly honored and thankful to have met Amber and the relationship we developed throughout the years! Her continued support, acceptance, and compassion has helped me develop insight to my own strengths of resiliency and perseverance. I learned to re-write my story by changing the thoughts and beliefs I once held onto which were impacting my ability to connect with my clients. In doing so, my personal and professional skills have flourished and I am more confident as a therapist! Amber has taught me a wealth of information, strategies, resources, and interventions I can use to support my clients as well as my colleagues. Thank you Amber for all your love and support!"

"A core concept in Amber’s approach to clinical supervision is that the best clinical tool is one’s Self, and the best clinical experience is gained in the clinicians’s process of personal growth and healing. You don't get this level of work from any other supervisor."
Steve T.
"I grew so much. Personally and professionally!  I now tell every (counseling associate) I meet how important it is to find a good clinical supervisor because I had no idea how much I would need and benefit from group supervision.   I can't thank you enough. I am a confident clinician because of this group."

PAIRED INDIVIDUAL & GROUP CLINICAL
SUPERVISION
A deeply personal and collaborative approach.
Your supervision hour is a time for YOU. It's more than just a requirement for a licensing board. It is a space for your needs to show up, and where you are seen and heard. It is a relationship of mutuality, trust, and support. It is a school beyond school, where professional risk taking, vulnerability, authenticity, and attunement to self are encouraged over "the right answer." It's a deepening into the confidence of your unique clinical voice.
Supervision Style and Orientation:
At the core of my work as a therapist and supervisor is a trauma informed framework that that incorporates the values and practices of Body Trust, Health at Every Size, Intuitive Eating, Feminist, Social Justice, Internal Family Systems, and EMDR. In supervision, we will spend our time addressing the following:
-
Imposter syndrome that is so common amongst new providers
-
Coutertransference
-
Case conceptualization, assessment, treatment planning, interventions, documentation, and discharge planning.
-
Vicarious trauma and compassion fatigue
-
Making our practices inclusive and addressing the systemic problems in the counseling, social work, and psychology professions.

I consult with each supervisee in order to ensure good fit. We will likely meet weekly or every other week, depending on your supervision needs.

Rates:
-
Group: $75 per 90 minute session, provided every other week
-
Paired Individual Sessions*: $70 per 60 minute session/ $105 per 90 minute session.

*Paired individual sessions is defined as 2 supervisees meeting with supervisor for the supervision hour. For California clinicians, this would count toward Group Supervision. For Washington state LMFTA's, this would count toward Individual Supervision hours. For Washington state LMHCA's, this would count toward Immediate Supervision hours. For Washington state LICSWA's, this would count toward group supervision.

“Clients begin to heal the moment that they feel heard. To do this, we need clinicians who are embodied and present with themselves and with their clients. We can’t do this from an academic place. We can’t do this strictly from our heads. We must be fully present. "
Amber Rice, LMFT
